On the 7th April 2008, our Border Collie Inca (with handler Sue) was successful in achieving her Gold Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme. Congratulations to both of them.
Easter Walk 08 - Despite some dubious Easter weather, a bunch of friends got together for a Slad Valley walk. All 13 dogs (Whippet, Podenco, Lurchers, Greyhounds, Border Collies) and their human family members had a fantastic time.
Cani-Cross Westonbirt 24th February 2008, 2.5km and 5km fun run with your dog - A really BIG well done to Tabitha and Irish Setter Murphy, and to Kate and Andalucian Podenco Paz for successfully completing their first ever 5km CaniX. Proceeds to The Blue Cross charity.
Stroud Half Marathon - Kate ran the 26th Stroud Half Marathon
on 21st October 2007 (13.2 miles) in aid of
Evesham Greyhound and
Lurcher Rescue (total raised £131). A sincere thank you to all those who
kindly sponsored her.
Congratulations to Australian Shepherd Dog Sheila and her owner Caroline for successfully achieving the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Silver award. Great job.
